Women’s Soccer Host Saints And Lady Rams This Week

The women’s soccer team opens the 2022 home schedule against the 11th-ranked Flagler Saints on Wednesday and also plays host to the Albany State Lady Rams on Saturday. The games will be live streamed on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network with live stats provided by StatBroadcast.

Barry split a pair of games at the CSU Soccer Classic against Gulf South Conference foes. The Bucs fell 2-0 to West Florida in a weather-shortened game, but rallied to beat Christian Brothers 1-0.

Ellen Cederin scored the lone goal for the Bucs, with an assist from Drew Dempsey. Keeper Emily Parrott had 10 saves and a 83.3 save percentage in the two games.

The Saints defeated Mount Olive 2-1. Andrea Fernandez scored both goals, while keeper Madison North picked up the only assist. She also stopped three of the four shots she faced.

The Lady Rams lost 3-1 to Georgia Southwestern. Kaleema Alexis notched the Rams goal. Keepers Taniya Averett and Thuto Ramafifi split time between the pipes. Averett allowed two goals, without a save and Ramafifi stopped one shot and allowed the other goal.
