Who among former Southwest Florida area high school athletes will be active on Friday, June 5?

DJ Irving has been promoted to associate head coach of Florida Gulf Coast University’s men’s basketball team following contributions during a successful season under head coach Pat Chambers. Irving’s coaching background includes stints at Boston University, Miami, Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, as well as professional playing experience.

These former Southwest Florida area high school athletes will take part in events on Wednesday, June 3.

Amber Moore has been named assistant coach/recruiting coordinator for Florida Gulf Coast women’s basketball by head coach Raina Harmon. Moore previously coached at Syracuse University after holding several collegiate coaching roles.
