Traffic Advisory: Overnight Road Paving on Nicholas Parkway West from Pine Island Road to Santa Barbara Boulevard

The City of Cape Coral will begin overnight paving on Nicholas Parkway West starting Tuesday, September 6, 2022, and continuing for approximately two weeks. Lane closures and detours will be in place to allow paving work along the corridor. The overnight paving is being done as part of the Nicholas Parkway West Access Management and Waterline Project.

To minimize inconvenience to area residents, work will be done overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Homeowners should expect noise from construction equipment, back-up alarms as well as temporary lighting.

Detours will be in place via Pine Island Road, Santa Barbara Boulevard, Trafalgar Parkway and Skyline Boulevard. Lane closures and detours can be found on the map. Residents will still have access to their properties.
