The City of Cape Coral and Fort Myers - Islands, Beaches, and Neighborhoods have teamed up to launch the new Cape Coral Quest app that gives locals and visitors a fun way to explore the area and win prizes through Nov. 30, 2023.

The free mobile app includes attractions in the Cape Coral area and exclusive deals. During the scavenger hunt, participants search for clues to find a code at each location. There is a chance to earn points and trade them in for prizes. Once 20 riddles are solved, participants will be entered in the grand prize to win a two-night stay with breakfast each day at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village.

Follow the directions here to download the app to any mobile device.

“Cape Coral is proud to partner with Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau to highlight our growing city,” said John Gunter, Cape Coral Mayor. “We invite our locals and visitors alike to visit the unique amenities Cape Coral has to offer. It’s a great way to explore the area, discover new things to do, and win prizes.”

Cape Coral, the largest city in Southwest Florida, is consistently voted one of the best places to live in America, and it’s no wonder why. Our residents and visitors enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including water sports and golf.

A “boating paradise,” Cape Coral is famous for its 400 miles of canals, saltwater access to the Gulf of Mexico, and sailing paradise Charlotte Harbor. With its 264 days of sunshine, temperatures averaging 75 degrees, and affordable living, Cape Coral is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.

As the largest city in Southwest Florida, Cape Coral combines a small town's heart with a big city's amenities. Retiring baby boomers and young families are drawn by the nature preserves, golf courses, boating, fishing, and community events that dominate Cape Coral life.

Among the locations in the scavenger hunt:

  • Cape Coral Museum of History
  • Coral Oaks Golf Course
  • Cultural Parks Theatre
  • Del Prado Linear Park
  • Gator Mike’s Family Fun Park
  • Rotary Park
  • The 28-foot-tall Big John Statue
  • Nauti Mermaid Dockside Pool Grill
