Citizen Hurricane Debris Drop-Off Sites Closing Saturday, December 17

The City will be closing the two public hurricane debris drop-off sites this week. The last day for use is Friday, December 16. The number of citizens bringing vegetation, construction, and demolition debris to the drop-off sites has decreased significantly.

Once the sites are closed, the City’s contracted hauler will begin demobilizing and restoring both sites, located at 2930 NW 13th Street and 1821 SW 42nd Street, to their pre-hurricane condition.

The Bulk Waste Drop-Off Site for Cape Coral residents located at 1200 Kismet Parkway is now an ongoing program, so it will remain open during regular hours of Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Please note: The bulk drop-off site entrance is off NW 14th Avenue, at the western portion of the complex.
