Camden Andrews Commits to NSU Men's Basketball

Camden Andrews, a 6-1 guard from Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, TN., has committed to fourth-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men's Basketball program, announces Head Coach Jim Crutchfield.

Andrews has been named the team captain for Hamilton Heights in each of the past two seasons, leading one of the top-25 high school men's basketball program's in the country.

"Good guards win games and Camden is certainly a good guard," stated Crutchfield. "He is also an outstanding student and a quality person; we are excited for Camden to be a part of the NSU Basketball program."

During the 2021-22 season, Andrews averaged 14 points-per-game, seven assists, and five rebounds. Additionally, Andrews set a new program record for assists in a game, recording 17.

"I chose Nova Southeastern because of how welcoming the coaches and players were during my visit," said Andrews. "During my recruitment, the coaching staff made it clear how much they believed I can help further the success of their nationally recognized program. I know it will be a great fit for me and I'm looking forward to getting to work."

The No. 4 Nova Southeastern Sharks begin their defense of the Sunshine State Conference crown on Wednesday, Nov. 30, as NSU takes on Lynn in Boca Raton, Fla. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
