Household Chemical Waste Collection Saturday at City Hall

The City of Cape Coral is partnering with the Lee County Solid Waste Division to collect household chemical waste (HCW) items on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 7 - 11 a.m., in the City Hall parking lot,1015 Cultural Park Boulevard.

This quarterly event is another way for residents to dispose of household chemical waste safely and responsibly. Residents should use the main entrance to City Hall on Cultural Park Blvd. to drop off items. Only HCW will be collected from vehicle trunks and truck beds. 

Proof of residency may be required to drop off items. Photo IDs with a Cape Coral address and utility bills from an active Cape Coral account are acceptable items to prove your residency.

Items accepted at the event include:

  • Drain cleaners and pool chemicals
  • Pesticides/herbicides
  • Liquid paint and thinners
  • Polishes and strippers
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Electronics
  • Car and boat batteries
  • Automotive oil
  • Gas propane tanks
No bulk or white goods will be accepted.
