Lehigh Acres motorists are encouraged to avoid Richmond Avenue overnight from 7 p.m. Monday until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
A contractor will complete repairs to an area where a ruptured sewer line disrupted traffic earlier this week.
Richmond Avenue will be closed to all traffic from the intersection of Leeland Heights Boulevard to Bougainvillea Road. Also, Leland Heights Boulevard will have one westbound lane closed during the same time.
Lee County Department of Transportation will use temporary detour signs to alert motorists. The work is expected to take place only one night. For more information about DOT, visit www.leegov.com/dot.
