Following one of the most successful seasons in program history in 2021, the No. 24 Nova Southeastern Sharks Volleyball team was voted to place second in the league as the Sunshine State Conference released its Preseason Coaches' Poll on Friday morning.
NSU and Embry-Riddle are tied in the preseason poll, as both clubs picked were awarded 82 points, however, the Sharks earned the 11th and final first place vote in the league. Nova Southeastern was one of five teams to advance from the SSC to the NCAA Tournament and NSU was the only conference foe to best soon-to-be NCAA National Champion Tampa in the regular season.
Nova Southeastern also qualified for the NCAA National Tournament for the first time since 2009 during the 2021 season and Head Coach Kacie Ehinger looks to elevate the program even higher in her first season leading the Sharks.
