Nationally prominent men’s and women’s basketball programs have new tool to promote student-athlete brands.
In looking to add strategic tools to help enhance student-athlete brands, the nationally prominent FGCU men's and women's basketball programs have announced a new partnership with INFLCR (pronounced Influencer) – one of the leading content-management companies in college athletics.
"In today's NIL era, this partnership with INFLCR is critical in helping serve our student-athletes as they build their personal brands," said men's basketball head coach Pat Chambers. "The creative staff here provides amazing content and will now have a tool to help share that with our men's and women's basketball players which not only promotes them, but FGCU overall as well."
INFLCR, a Teamworks company, is the leading content and compliance platform for elite athletic programs and is powered by best-in-class content delivery through mobile applications. INFLCR works with more than 3,500 collegiate and professional sports teams with a network of over 70,000 athlete users.
"We are excited about this partnership and how it will enhance the experience of our student-athletes," said women's basketball head coach Karl Smesko. "They are terrific ambassadors of this University and our programs. This partnership provides them a tool to help promote themselves as well as our program. I think it will be great for the fans who follow them and is a unique way to spread the word about the amazing success they have here at FGCU."
The INFLCR mobile application will provide FGCU basketball student-athletes with real-time content access from the Eagles creative team including photography, video clips, and highlights from games so they can share on their personal social media channels. The platform also provides personalized metrics allowing student-athletes to track their social media growth and engagement.
"It's a win anytime we have the chance to give student-athletes easier access to content and department's a more efficient way to deliver it," said INFLCR Founder and CEO Jim Cavale. "As a new basketball season rolls around, the men's and women's basketball teams at FGCU will now have the content they need to enhance their personal brands on social media."
