The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced on Tuesday the 2022 Baseball All-America teams as selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches' Association All-America.
Keiser University had two players receive All-America honors with Tim Bouchard earning first-team recognition and Brandon McCabe named honorable mention.
First-Team
Tim Bouchard, Senior, Ashburnham, Mass.
- Named First-Team All-American for the second straight year.
- Named 2022 Sun Conference Player of the Year.
- Earned first-team all-conference honors at third base.
- Started in all 57 games for the Seahawks.
- Batted .404 with a .779 slugging percentage (both No. 2 in the conference).
- Registered an OPS of 1.300 (No. 2 in the SUN).
- Led the Seahawks and the conference in home runs (18 - No. 18 in the nation) and RBI (73 - No. 11 in the nation).
- A two-time Sun Conference Player of the Week in 2022.
- Drew 55 walks (No. 2 in the nation).
- Scored 62 runs for the Seahawks.
- Recorded 26 multi-hit games and 20 multi-RBI outings.
Honorable Mention
Brandon McCabe, Sophomore, Boynton Beach, Fla.
- Garnered All-America honors for the first time.
- Earned First-Team All-Sun Conference honors as a relief pitcher.
- Appeared and 18 games out of the bullpen.
- Registered a team-best five saves.
- Posted a 3-0 record with a 1.05 ERA.
- Pitched in 34.1 innings, striking out 56 batters
- Held the opposition to a .142 batting average.
- Did not allow a hit in seven outings.
