Lee County Domestic Animal Services celebrates Take Your Pet to Work Week

Lee County Domestic Animal Services is celebrating National Take Your Pet to Work Week from June 20-24, making it easy to consider adopting a canine or feline friend to be a new co-worker. Adoption fees will be $20 on all adult dogs and cats throughout June. 

Take a picture of the new furry family member on the job and share it to Domestic Animal Service’s Facebook page to celebrate. The adoption package includes spay or neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, county license and a 10-day health guarantee. That is a $600 package. 

A team of staff and volunteers are waiting to introduce a new four-legged family members. Stop by 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the adoption center, 5600 Banner Drive, in Fort Myers to find a pet that suits your family best. 

Photos and information about lost pets or pets for adoption are available at www.leelostpets.com. Pet information on the website updates hourly. Adoption applications may be completed online.
