City of Cape Coral recently issued the following announcement.
City staff will be installing All-Way Stop signs at the Jaycee Park Intersection, located at Beach Parkway and SE 20th Place, on March 7, 2022.
Starting today, Feb. 28, 2022, message board signs will be placed along NE 20th Place, both North and South of Beach Parkway, to inform the public. These message boards will
remain for a week after the installation to remind motorists of changes to the traffic pattern.
Traffic data was collected at this location, and a study was performed. All-Way Stop Signs are needed in the area due to an increase in motor vehicle traffic, bicyclists, and
pedestrians.
