City of Cape Coral recently issued the following announcement.
Burnt Store Road going North to Durden Pkwy:
Motorists should expect intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures during nighttime/overnight hours, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution while driving in the area as workers, flagmen, and equipment will be present.
Improvements will be made along Burnt Store Road between 3942 Burnt Store Rd N., Cape Coral and going North to Durden Pkwy, Cape Coral through April 1, 2022.

Burnt Store Road from Tropicana Parkway to Pine Island Road:
Motorists should expect intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures during nighttime/overnight hours, weather permitting.
Motorists should also expect intermittent side road closures throughout the duration of the project and intermittent traffic shifts. Motorists should use caution while driving in the area.
This project consists of widening Burnt Store Road to four lanes. The project also includes construction of a new bridge over Shadroe Canal, drainage installation, and lighting and is expected to be completed by Fall 2022.

Del Prado Boulevard & SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral:
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use extra caution in this area.
A new traffic signal mast arm will be installed at Del Prado Boulevard & Southeast 47th Terrace. This project includes a new mast arm and removing two of the existing mast arms.

Del Prado Blvd., Starting at Coral Point Dr. Northbound to Viscaya:
Motorists should expect nightly lane closures Starting on Monday, 2/28/2022 and ending on Monday, 3/28/2022, beginning at 9:00 PM and ending at 6:00 AM for a boring
operation.
The operation will take place on Del Prado Blvd (the northbound side) in the right hand lane starting at Coral Point Dr. going north to Viscaya. Road closures will only be in the area of the equipment.
