City of Cape Coral recently issued the following announcement.
City offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Solid Waste
Thursday, Nov. 25: No trash collection services will take place on the holiday. All solid waste services (trash/recycling/yard waste/bulk) will be delayed one service day for the remainder of the week following the holiday.
Friday, Nov. 26: Thursday’s collections will be picked up.
Saturday, Nov. 27: Friday’s collections will be picked up.
Regular collection services will resume Monday, November 29.
Parks & Recreation
Thursday, Nov. 25, Friday, Nov. 26, and through the holiday weekend: boat ramps, parks and preserves will be open.
Administrative offices, recreation centers and the Yacht Club pool are closed Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26.
Recreation centers and the Yacht Club pool resume normal operating hours Saturday, Nov. 27.
Administrative offices resume normal operating hours Monday, Nov. 29.
Library System
Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26: All libraries will be closed.
Saturday, Nov. 27: Normal library hours will resume.
311 Call Center & Water Account Services
The 311 Call Center and Water Account Services are closed Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26, and will reopen Monday, Nov. 29.
To pay your water bill, visit our website, www.capecoral.gov, and go to Pay Water Bill. Checks can be placed in the designated payment drop box at City Hall.
