City of Cape Coral recently issued the following announcement.
Guiffrida Park, located at 1044 NE 4 Street, is OPEN!
Completed playground improvements include:
New vinyl coated chain link fence with ADA accessible gates
New concrete curbing defining the playground border
Adding two new free standing play elements, Playcube climber and Spinami spinner
Six inches of playground approved wood chips for safety surface
Over 1000 square feet of Bahai Sod
A shade structure over the playground was installed last year as part of the GoBond improvements. Additional improvements to the park that are GoBond funded include a walking path, parking lot, pickleball court, and landscape improvements will be coming soon.
