Census Bureau: More women than men in Cape Coral in 2019

Of the 183,942 people living in Cape Coral in 2019, 50.4 percent (92,784) were women and 49.6 percent (91,158) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Lee Today.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 55,995-to-52,822. In the 65 and over age range, there were 21,053 females and 20,676 males.
