Barry University issued the following announcement.
Today, Barry University hosted an admissions experience unlike any that has come before it at the school. A reflection of the current reality, prospective students attended a drive-in tour, winding through campus listening to an audio guide from the privacy of their cars and learning about all the school has to offer at various stops along the way. Visitors were treated to fun giveaways and had the option of physically distanced meetings with an admissions counselor at the conclusion of the drive-through.
“There’s tons of information you can find online about Barry, there’s even a virtual campus tour. But nothing will ever top being here on campus,” said Roxanna Cruz, Barry University Associate Vice President for Enrollment. “So, we wanted to create an innovative and safe, creative experience for our prospective students and family.”
Barry recently announced its commitment to meet full tuition for full-time first year students who earn the Florida Bright Futures Academic Scholarship beginning in Fall 2021.
