City of Bonita Springs issued the following announcement.

Please join the City of Bonita as we ring in the 2020 Holiday Season throughout the month of December. See the Bonita Springs Holiday timeline for dates.

December 1st through January 4th

Downtown Holiday Stroll: The City of Bonita Springs will be lighting up downtown to celebrate the holiday season. Visitors are encouraged to take a holiday stroll through the park. Please socially distance and comply with CDC guidelines to enjoy the stroll in a safe manner. Masks are suggested. Holiday music will be playing, and a beautiful holiday tree will be decorated and lit. Photo areas will be set up throughout the stroll for visitors to take holiday photos. Frontline heroes will also be honored with a special tribute. If you prefer to stay in your vehicle, visitors can also drive old 41 to enjoy the lights.

December 1st through the 15th

Letter to Santa: Drop off letters to Santa at the Mail at Riverside Park. Be sure to include a valid email address with your letter. Santa will be sharing a special virtual message to those that turn in a letter, so be extra sure to include an email address on the letter.

Holiday Lighting Contest: Downtown Bonita businesses will be taking part in a holiday lighting contest. To participate, take a stroll through Downtown Bonita, pick your favorite holiday decorated business, and cast your vote at www.cityofbonitasprings.org/holidayseason

December 20th

Special Virtual Message from Santa: Check your email inbox! Santa will be sending a special virtual message to those who dropped off a letter at the Riverside Park.
