The 2022 All-Sun Conference Softball Teams were announced on Wednesday as voted on by the league’s ten head coaches. The Seahawks garnered two First Team honors.
First Team All-Conference
Cassie Querry, Senior, Cassville, Pa.
Earned First Team honors as a catcher.
Started in all 48 games for the Seahawks
Batted .302 with a team-leading .574 slugging and.413 on-base percentage.
Recorded 39 hits with 30 runs scored and 32 RBI.
Boasted nine doubles and a triple.
Tied for the conference lead in home runs with eight.
Tallied ten multi-hit and nine multi-RBI performances on the season.
Lizzy Small, Freshman, Sarasota, Fla.
Earned First Team honors as an at-large.
Appeared and started 45 games, splitting between pitcher and third base.
Led the Seahawks in batting average (.323)
Second on the team in hits with 43.
Tallied ten doubles, a pair of triples, and four home runs.
Notched 24 RBI while crossing the plate 26 times.
Swiped six bases
Pitched in 29 games in the circle, while making 24 starts.
Posted a 10-14 record with a team-leading 2.91 ERA
Totaled 73 strikeouts in 158.2 innings pitched.
Tossed 14 complete games.
