On Friday, May 29, the Saint Leo Lions, the college team of former North Fort Myers High School softball standout Abigail Hynes, defeated the Cal State San Marcos Cougars 5-3 in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
The matchup was held at Jim Frost Stadium with a 9 a.m. start.
The Lions are scheduled to play their next contest Sunday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
Saturday, June 6 will feature competition from these former Southwest Florida area high school standouts.
