The City of Cape Coral is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the SW Pine Island Road Irrigation Tanks and High-Service Pump Station on Friday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m.

The ceremony will be held at 610 Commercial Park Place, Cape Coral, FL 33991, north of SW Pine Island Road and west of Chiquita Boulevard. The public is welcome to attend.

This remote storage and pumping facility will serve the City’s irrigation systems with two 5-MG prestressed, reinforced concrete ground storage tanks and a high service pump station.

This Capital Improvement Project also includes a 36″ reclaimed water transmission pipeline from the new facility to the intersection of Pine Island Road and Commercial Park Place, where a connection is made to the irrigation water distribution system.
