Lee County Department of Transportation (LCDOT) crews are completing roadwork in Cape Coral through Wednesday, Dec. 6. Motorists should use caution and expect delays while traveling through the below areas:

  • From Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, through Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, LCDOT will complete striping maintenance on Cape Coral Parkway. The operation will move along Cape Coral Parkway between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
  • On Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, and Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, LCDOT crews will mill and resurface the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and De Navarra Parkway from 6 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • On Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, and Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, LCDOT crews will install loops at Del Prado Boulevard and De Navarra Parkway from 6 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

To ensure the safety of motorists and construction crews, the speed limit on Del Prado Boulevard approaching the De Navarra Parkway intersection will be reduced from 50 mph to 35 mph. Left turns onto Del Prado Boulevard from De Navarra Parkway, which will continue to be restricted throughout construction. Motorists should expect delays during these times.
