The City of Cape Coral invites the public to a groundbreaking ceremony for the Lake Kennedy Racquet Center Friday, March 24, at 10 a.m.

The ceremony will be at Lake Kennedy Center, 400 Santa Barbara Boulevard, and no reservation is required to attend.

In 2018, Cape Coral voters approved a $60 million expansion of the City’s parks and recreation amenities. The approved 15-year general obligation bond will fund major parks and recreation improvements throughout the City.

The Lake Kennedy Racquet Center will include pickleball and tennis courts with covered seating, as well as a pro shop, concession stand, and ample parking.
