Former Riverdale High School standout and current Texas Tech Red Raiders player, Roy Alexander will compete in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the BYU Cougars.
The first game is on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m.
These ex-Southwest Florida area high school standouts will participate in competitions on Sunday, May 3.
Florida Gulf Coast University’s women’s basketball team has signed Denika Lightbourne from Florida International University for the upcoming season. Head coach Raina Harmon praised Lightbourne’s skills as a versatile guard who can both score and facilitate play.
