On Saturday, Nov. 15, former Fort Myers High School standout Alex Thelusma’s current collegiate team the Benedict Tigers lost 16-22 against the Albany State Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game took place at ASU Coliseum at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Albany State Golden Rams in the tournament.

The Benedict Tigers’ next game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. at Irwin Belk Stadium.
