The Florida Gulf Coast University men’s golf team is in 12th place after the second round of the Marana Regional, according to a May 19 announcement. The event is taking place at The Gallery Golf Club (North Course), where the team posted a round two score of 1-over-par, bringing its total to 10-over through 36 holes.

This position matters as it reflects the team’s standing among other collegiate programs competing for advancement and recognition. The regional tournament serves as an important benchmark for both individual and team performance.

Sacha Ruiz led the Eagles with a round-best score of 2-under 70, moving up five spots into a tie for 27th individually. Nolan Harper carded an even-par 72 and moved into a tie for 51st. Christian Figueredo finished with a score of 1-over 73, while Brett Moore posted a score of 2-over 74; both are also tied with Harper at the same rank. Sebastian Gamboa completed his round with a score of three over par and stands in 61st place.

No.18 Arizona leads the team standings at -35, while Eric Lee from Oklahoma State and William Jennings from Alabama are tied as individual leaders at -12 each. The course measures out to be par-72 over a distance of approximately seven thousand three hundred seventeen yards.

The Eagles will return to play on Wednesday for the final round, teeing off at The Gallery Golf Club alongside Tarleton State and Iona starting at about eight twenty-five local time. Live scoring will be available online, along with an option to watch via live stream.
