Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball lost to No. 5 Florida State with a score of 5-0 on April 17. The match took place in Clearwater, where the Eagles were unable to win a set against the Seminoles.

The closest contests came from the pairs of Nicole De Oliveira and Erin Miller, as well as Vanessa Moriarty and Sydney Majick, who each lost their matches by scores of 21-14 and 21-19. Despite efforts from these pairs, Florida State maintained control throughout the competition.

This loss leaves Florida Gulf Coast with an overall record of 18 wins and 13 losses for the season. Florida State improved its record to 27 wins and two losses.

The Eagles are scheduled to face No. 13 LSU at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 18.
