Florida Gulf Coast University announced on May 20 that season tickets for the 2027 FGCU baseball and softball seasons are now on sale. Fans who purchase their tickets before June 15 will have all ticketing fees waived for the transaction.
The announcement comes after a year of strong attendance figures for both programs. FGCU Baseball recorded its third-highest total season attendance with 16,796 fans at Swanson Stadium, averaging 559 fans per game, which is the second-highest average in program history. Meanwhile, FGCU Softball set new records with a total of 13,168 fans and an average of 439 fans per game, filling the FGCU Softball Complex to over full capacity at nearly 110 percent.
In terms of performance, FGCU Baseball finished its regular season as the No. 3 seed in the Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball Championship after winning ten of its final fourteen games. The team also claimed more conference awards than any other in the league with eight all-conference selections. Jon Embury was named Player of the Year and Evan Dempsey was named Pitcher of the Year, marking only the fifth time in conference history that one team has won both honors in a single year. Head coach Dave Tollett has led FGCU to seventeen seasons with thirty or more victories and twenty-one winning records over his twenty-four years at the helm.
FGCU Softball concluded its campaign as the No. 5 seed at this year’s ASUN Championship under first-year head coach Lindsay Fico. Olivia Black earned recognition as ASUN Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year and joined Sietske Drijvers on the All-ASUN Third Team. Julia Bacoulis and Maceknzie Leiti were both named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team.
