Eight Sharks Recognized as Easton/NFCA Scholar All-Americans

The NFCA released the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors for the 2021-22 academic year. The Nova Southeastern Sharks placed eight student-athletes on the list and achieved a total team grade-point average of 3.37.  

Student-athletes who achieve a GPA higher than 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale are recognized as NFCA Scholar-Athletes.  

The Sharks that were recognized as Easton/NFCA Scholar All-Americans are Samantha Burke, Madison Fine, Emily Hess, Allie Janowiak, Sydney Lageyre, Emerson Morris, Kerstyn Shaw and Sidney Swantic.  

Under Head Coach Julie LeMaire, the Nova Southeastern Sharks finished the 2022 campaign with a record of 38-14 (the program’s most wins since 2010), earned the program’s first share of the Sunshine State Conference title and advanced to the NCAA South Region Tournament.
