The City of Cape Coral will hold a meeting to collect public input on the design of the future trails at Yellow Fever Creek on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 10 to 11 a.m. The meeting will be held at Rotary Park Environmental Center, 5505 Rose Garden Road.
The Parks and Recreation Department is applying for a $400,000 grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the Recreational Trails Program, and staff wants input from residents and property owners regarding types of trails, amenities, and preferred usage.
Members of the public can arrive anytime from 10 to 11 a.m. to view display boards and fill out comment cards. City staff will be on hand to answer questions.
An online survey is available for those who cannot attend the public meeting. Any questions concerning the meeting should be directed to the Parks and Recreation Administrative office at 239-573-3128.
