As project costs have been finalized for the North 2 Utilities Extension Project, the City of Cape Coral has issued final cost refund checks to property owners.

Refund checks are issued to the current owner of record and only for properties in which assessment fees have been paid in full.

For customers who have opted to pay the assessments through the amortized option, or tax billed method, the City has calculated and applied the appropriate adjustment to their assessment balances. Each property owner will receive a final cost adjustment letter outlining the specific adjustments made to their accounts.

Construction of North 2 UEP started in November 2017. The project area includes approximately 8,800 parcels contained within five square miles.
