City of Cape Coral recently issued the following announcement.

Please be advised that construction on the existing underground fire line systems, connecting City Hall and City Council Chambers, is set to begin on Monday, March 21. 

Construction will take place at the City Hall entrance on the east side of SE 10 Street in the green areas.  The work will not impact parking or roadways. 

Irrigation and sprinkler system shut-offs are scheduled for Wednesday, March 23 at City Hall.  The underground fire line system tie-in is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, March 

29.  Construction is scheduled to be completed on March 29, barring any unforeseen conditions.
