The City of Cape Coral announced on May 28 that it will hold a Summer Budget Workshop on Thursday, June 4, with a possible continuation on Friday, June 5. The sessions are scheduled for 9 a.m. in the Council Chambers at 1015 Cultural Park Boulevard.
The workshop is open to the public and will provide an overview of the proposed 2027 budget as well as outline key priorities for the city. According to the announcement, residents who cannot attend in person will be able to watch a live stream of the meetings on Cape TV or access them on demand.
Public input opportunities are planned during the meetings. For those unable to attend in person, e-comments will be accepted. Additional chances for public involvement are expected later in the fall.
An agenda for the meeting will be posted ahead of time on the Agendas & Videos page of the City website.
The City encourages community participation throughout its budgeting process.
