The City of Cape Coral mourns the loss of former District 2 Councilmember Richard Stevens.

The former councilmember passed away Sunday.

“Today, we mourn the loss of a dedicated public servant, former District 2 Councilmember Richard Stevens, whose legacy of commitment to our City will never be forgotten,” said Mayor John Gunter. “His devotion to our community was evident in the 15 years he served, and we will continue to honor his legacy. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.”

Former Councilmember Stevens served District 2 from November 1998 to November 2007.
