The City of Cape Coral encourages residents to participate in a Public Hearing with the Florida Department of Transportation, where the Draft Tentative Five-Year Work Program will be presented.The work program lists transportation improvements in Lee County scheduled for fiscal years 2024/25 through 2028/29. 

There are multiple ways residents can participate in the public hearing:

  • Attend the in-person presentation at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at the Fort Myers Office, 10041 Daniels Parkway.
  • Attend the virtual presentation by clicking here.
  • Review project materials with FDOT Representatives the week of Monday, Oct. 16, 2023. Call 239-225-1900 to schedule an appointment.
  • Participate in a self-guided online ePublic hearing by clicking here.
