Cape Coral’s Financial Services Department published the city’s first-ever Popular Annual Financial Report.

The 2022 Popular Annual Financial Report is a distilled, 12-page-version of the city’s 208-page 2022 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. The truncated report was created to enhance the city’s transparency and the public’s access to the city’s official financial reporting.

The City of Cape Coral is now eligible to earn the Government Finance Officers Association’s Triple Crown. This distinction recognizes governments who have received the Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, which the City has earned for 35 consecutive years; the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award, which the city has earned 25 times; and the Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award, which the city aspires to earn with its 2022 Popular Annual Financial Report.

Financial Services Department’s mission is to provide quality customer service by giving complete and accurate financial management support in an efficient and timely manner.
