The Nova Southeastern Men’s and Women’s Swimming teams finished competition at the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy, hosted by Queens. At the conclusion of the three-day meet, the men’s team placed second with 1214.5 points, while the women’s team scored 1464.5 and placed second, as well.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Women’s)

Celina Marquez began the day with a win for the Sharks in the 200 backstroke, placing first with a time of 1:57.57.

Savanna Best followed with an individual victory in the 200 breaststroke, edging out her opponent by just .05, posting a time of 2:13.13.

Sasha Maslova was victorious in the 200 butterfly, recording a time of 2:00.19. May Lowy came in second place, completing the race in 2:00.89.

Bethany Weber, Emilia Ronningdal, Mollie Morfelt, and Emily Trieschmann finished third in the 400-freestyle relay, recording a time of 3:24.21
HOW IT HAPPENED (Men’s)

Jarryd Baxter earned a second-place finish in the 200 back, recording a time of 1:47.19

Steven Aimable posted a third-place finish in the 200 butterfly, finishing in 1:49.23

Aimable, Umberto Marsic, Gustav Henriksen, and Thomas Flower closed out the meet with a third-place finish in the 400-freestyle relay, finishing in 2:59.97
